Getting started

A clear first step makes the rest easier.

What is Rise with skills?

Rise with skills is an education-focused website exploring market foundations, technical analysis, risk management, and trading psychology. Its aim is to connect clear explanations with practical exercises and reflection. Explore the Rise approach ↗

Can I begin without trading experience?

Yes. Begin with market terminology and mechanics, then learn about risk before moving to more complex analysis. You can read the introductory resources without prior trading experience. Explore Market Essentials ↗

Where should I start?

Use the course finder to choose a proposed path, or follow the Learning Hub’s reading route. If you are new, start with market basics and order types, then risk concepts. Find a starting point ↗

Do I need a live trading account?

No. You can study the concepts, observe historical charts, and work through paper-trading exercises without placing live trades. A live account is not required to explore this website.

How much time should I spend learning?

There is no fixed schedule for these introductory materials. Choose a manageable concept, complete a related exercise, and allow time to reflect. Understanding matters more than finishing a reading list quickly. Build a learning routine ↗

Courses & curriculum

Understand the learning paths before choosing one.

Which subjects do the course outlines cover?

The four proposed paths are Market Essentials, Technical Analysis, Risk & Money Management, and The Disciplined Trader. Together they connect mechanics, chart context, downside awareness, and decision habits. Compare the courses ↗

Are the courses open for enrollment?

Not yet. The courses page is a curriculum preview. Registration, payment, lesson access, schedules, pricing, and access duration have not been enabled or confirmed. There is no purchase step on this website.

How long does each course take?

Module counts describe the proposed curriculum, not a promised completion time. Final lesson lengths, schedules, and delivery arrangements will need to be stated before enrollment opens.

Are certificates, live classes, or mentor support included?

These features have not been confirmed. Do not assume that certificates, live sessions, mentor support, or community access are included. Final course details should clearly describe any included features before enrollment.

Who teaches the courses?

Instructor identities and credentials have not been provided for this preview. Any future instructor profiles should provide verifiable background and explain their role in delivering the course.

Can I explore the syllabus before enrolling?

Yes. Each course card includes an expandable module outline, a suggested practice exercise, prerequisites, and an intended learning outcome. Preview the curricula ↗

03

Guides & worksheets

Practical resources you can use right now.

Do I need an account to use the Learning Hub?

No. Its guides, glossary, and plain-text worksheets are available without signing in. Visit the Learning Hub ↗

How do I find a guide on a specific topic?

Use the Learning Hub search field and topic filters. You can explore foundations, chart analysis, risk management, mindset, or practice. The glossary has a separate search for market terms. Search the guide library ↗

What worksheets can I download?

The hub includes a trading-plan worksheet, decision journal, and weekly review checklist. Each is an editable plain-text file intended for historical examples or paper-trading practice. Get the worksheets ↗

How do I open or edit a worksheet?

Open the downloaded .txt file in a text editor such as Notepad or TextEdit. Save your own working copy and fill in the prompts. You can also paste the prompts into a notes app or print them.

Are the worksheet entries saved on the website?

No. The worksheets are files you edit on your own device. The page does not upload worksheet entries or trading records. Keep account details, passwords, and other sensitive information out of notes you share.

Where can I check instrument-specific rules?

Consult the relevant exchange, issuer, and broker documentation for trading hours, contract specifications, order behavior, fees, and account rules. Introductory guides cannot replace those details.

04

Practice & progress

Build understanding without rushing the process.

What does paper trading help me learn?

Paper trading can help you practice mechanics, calculations, and keeping a written decision record. Choose a specific skill for each exercise and state the assumptions behind simulated fills. Read the practice guide ↗

Does simulated success prove I am ready for live trading?

No. Simulation may not reproduce liquidity, queue priority, partial fills, market impact, stress, or real financial consequences. A favorable simulated result is not a guarantee or a readiness certificate.

How can I measure learning progress?

Check whether you can explain concepts in your own words, identify assumptions, show calculations, document uncertainty, and review decisions honestly. These are learning indicators, not proof of future trading performance. Explore progress indicators ↗

What should I write in a decision journal?

Record context, reasoning, uncertainty, rules, hypothetical risk assumptions, emotional state, and changes made during practice. Review whether you followed the process separately from the outcome. Read the journaling guide ↗

What if I keep making the same mistake?

Look for a specific unclear rule or recurring behavior. Reduce the exercise to one focused skill, write a concrete improvement, and review whether it helped in the next practice session. Avoid responding by chasing a target result.

05

Risk & expectations

Clear boundaries for education and examples.

Will the courses or guides guarantee profits?

No. Education does not guarantee profits or prevent losses. Trading involves risk, including the loss of capital. Historical examples and simulated results cannot predict future performance.

Does Rise with skills provide buy and sell signals?

The website presents general education. It does not offer personalized investment recommendations, trading signals, or account management. Examples explain ideas rather than recommending a specific transaction.

Can a stop order guarantee my maximum loss?

No. Actual execution can differ from the intended price, especially during gaps or fast markets. Stop behavior depends on the order type and venue rules, and a stop-limit order can remain unfilled. Verify the applicable rules before using live services.

Are position-size examples recommendations?

No. Calculations illustrate arithmetic and assumptions. They do not recommend a risk budget, an instrument, or a trade. Different products, leverage, fees, and currency conversions may require different calculations. Understand the example ↗

What should I verify before paying for a future course?

Review the confirmed syllabus, prerequisites, delivery format, instructor information, support arrangements, price, access period, and applicable terms. Only rely on features that are explicitly included in the final offering.
